Yosemite - One Year!

Yesterday was my one year anniversary of living in Northern California!  Wow, what a ride it has been.  A girlfriend of mine said, "It's only been that long?"  Ha!  I totally know what she means.  I guess I tend to pack three years worth of things into one year!  So much has happened, so many changes have occurred, so many lessons have been learned, and so many obstacles have been overcome.  I have to brag on myself and say, "I DID IT!"  And I did it on my own.  God brought me up here with other intentions other than what I was aware of, but through it all, I've grown exponentially for the better and am a better person having to withstand all those difficult times that I thought I was going to give up.  There was a time that I wondered why I moved up here after my world came crashing down, but I can now boldly say that I don't regret moving here at all.  Yes, of course there are days I miss the ocean and warm 70 degree weather year-round, but there is so much life up here, so many more places to explore, a variety of different people, and opportunities that I would not have had elsewhere.

Perhaps I'll make a list of all that I've done/seen/overcome/accomplished/feared/been, etc.  This will have to be a list that you'll have to come back and check every so often as I things from this past year come to mind, because literally, there is so much!  As for now, just know that I am super happy and feel like I have burst through the soil and blossomed like a flower reaching upwards towards the sunshine!
