Commitment

My cousin got married this weekend and became Mrs. Sarah Bach! Sarah is someone who's faith and trust in the Lord is so steadfast. She is unwavering in believing that the Lord will give her exactly what she's praying for, and this weekend was a testament to that provision. It was an honor to be in the wedding and stand witness to their marriage. Please join me in congratulating them and praying for Jay and Sarah as they begin their life together in the Lord as one unit. Congratulations Sarah!

Commitment is something that some people have trouble with. Oftentimes, it is a fear of the future and the unknown. "What will happen if I put my trust in this or that?" "What if I become a different person?" "Change? Me? Never!" We know that fear is not of the Lord, therefore we should not be afraid.

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1"

When you commit to things that you know are of God, you cannot go wrong! Pray continuosly, and ask God to guide you and show you what it is that you should be committed to in life. Whether it is work-related, a relationship with someone, or a thought or belief, we are all called to be passionate people for the Lord. Be committed!
